Cabernet Barrel-Aged Coffee
8 oz of our Flight coffee aged in a cabernet barrel is smooth and full bodied. We taste Freedom, Oak and Cabernet.
Is this coffee alcoholic?
No. During the roasting process all of the residual cabernet absorbed by the beans is evaporated. All of the cabernet flavor with none of the alcohol. Or, as we like to say, “All of the caffeine with none of the hangover.”
How long are the beans aged?
We put our un-roasted Colombian “Flight” Coffee into a cabernet barrel from Two Sicilians. Once all of the beans are in the barrel they will rest for 2-4 weeks until the beans have absorbed the natural oak and cabernet flavors. Then it’s off to the roaster!
When should I drink this coffee?
This coffee is perfect for an after-dinner beverage! Or as a morning beverage if you don’t like your job and need a taste of wine before dealing with people. No judgements.
